Description:
People from Melanesia heavily rely on their land for their livelihoods. They depend on their environment for food and income from cash crops, for clean water, fertile soil, forests for building materials, medicine and for hunting.
- Aim: To document traditional and innovative farming techonologies that can be used in Malanesia to strengthen food security in response to climate change.
- Objectives: To produce a guide to provide traditional and innovative technologies that make a positive contribution to strengthen food security in Melanesia in response to climate change.

- South Choiseul: Sasamungga, Panarui, ,Tunoe-Papara
- Malaita: East Kwaraae( Busurata), Lilisiana and Langalanga Lagoon
- Temotu: Lata and Surrounding communities
Time Frame: Sept 2010 - Nov 2011 (extended to November 2014)
